BOOKS ON PHILOSOPHY:

This is a great introductory text on the study of philosophy. It covers the usual areas of philosophy, e.g., metaphysics and epistemology, in an easy-to-read manner. One unique aspect of this book is that it covers political philosophy and aesthetics (i.e., the idea of beauty). In each chapter study questions are provided for use in classroom discussions, and each chapter provides brief bibliographic material for further reading. If Moreland and Craig’s book Philosophical Foundations for a Christian Worldview is too heavyweight for you, The Love of Wisdom is for you.
